Shuman & Epstein, LLC: An Established Local CPA Firm with a Diversified Client Base.

Shuman & Epstein's history is the result of two mergers in the past 5 years.

The first was January 2002 between two long established north shore CPA firms serving the Boston metropolitan and north of Boston communities, Sherman & Epstein, LLC of Peabody, MA and Shuman + Associates of Saugus, MA.

Shuman + Associates was founded in 1956 by Bernard Shuman in Boston, MA, and Sherman & Epstein, formed in 1984, is an outgrowth of the firm Selwyn J. Sherman, CPA, who began his practice in Peabody in 1965.

In 2006, Kenneth A. Drooks, one of the founding partners of Sullivan & Drooks, joined the group, bringing with him experience with various national and local CPA firms as well.

Shuman & Epsteins's combined experience and services include taxation, consulting, and accounting for profit and non-profit businesses in New England and across the United States. We also provide taxation and estate and financial planning services for individuals.

We represent clients in a variety of industries including retail, construction, manufacturing, professional services and real estate.
