Kenneth Drooks joined Shuman and Epstein LLC as a managing member in January 2006.
Ken graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1980 with a degree in Accounting in the honors program. He was also inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies. He received a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College Graduate School in 1983.
In addition to being an active member in local business organizations throughout the North Shore, Ken is also involved in many charitable and professional organizations and is currently serving as Treasurer of the Jewish Journal.
Ken has over twenty-five years experience in public accounting. From 1980 to 1986 he was a member of various national and local CPA firms, most notably PricewaterhouseCoopers (emerging business & tax departments). During 1986 he was one of the founding partners of Sullivan & Drooks, CPAs in Beverly and Danvers, Massachusetts. He managed that practice until 1997 when Sullivan & Drooks was transitioned into the national accounting firm of American Express Tax & Business Services, one of 55 offices nationwide.
Ken chose to join Shuman & Epstein, LLC because of their fifty-year tradition of providing superlative services to their clients. Ken considers his association with Shuman & Epstein, LLC as an opportunity to continue to provide first-class professional services to his clients.
