Larry Shuman graduated with honors from Bentley College in Waltham, MA where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation. He received his professional certification in 1973.
Larry has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Eagle Bank which is has it’s headquarters in Everett, MA since 1982. He served as Chairman of the Board from
2003-2009.
Active community involvment: current member of board of directors, past president and treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Everett; past treasurer of the Everett Chamber of Commerce; past financial secretary and treasurer at Temple Ner Tamid, Peabody, MA; past president and treasurer of Temple Ner Tamid's Men's Club. Larry was honored as the Men’s Club Man of the Year in 1999.
Currently, Larry serves as treasurer of the Saugus Business Education Collaborative, a non-profit organization that provides grants to teachers. He is also treasurer of the Everett Development and Financial Corporation, a non-profit organization that provides low interest financing for local business development.
Larry is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts*, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
